Long-tailed Tit

This was a day every year I dread. The day when the Visit England inspector comes to Amber Nook to open all the drawers, prod the mattresses and look to see whether everything is clean. It went better than I thought and so far she hasn't told me I NEED to do anything right now so I think it's safe to assume that we keep our 4 star rating. We had a really good chat about what I was doing to raise the game for better customer service. I came away happy!

From then on it was shopping, a bit of paperwork, a few shots out of the window at the birds in the miserable afternoon light and an evening with a friend.
