Week 3: Fujifilm 27mm f/2.8 - "A favourite place"

This landscape has cropped up more than once, although I love it no less for seeing it more times :-) You can see it here as well. Mixed feelings today, the National Trust are improving the facilities here - better car park allegedly* - but they are going to start charging. As an NT member, I don't think that this will be an issue as hopefully it will still be "free", but I'm not sure that I'm all that impressed. Someone else had already graffiti-ed the sign announcing this change suggesting that they weren't either ...

A beautiful, if somewhat chilly day - wind dropping it below zero easily and consistently.

Again, the lens is very comfortable and light - and, for this landscape where I wanted to get a nice comfortable f/16 to get everything in focus, frankly brilliant. Image slightly cropped top and bottom to give a wider angle "feel" but all in all, not a bad focal length for landscapes either.

Becoming quite fond of this lens :-)

Into Oxford again tomorrow for work, so hope to get some nice street shots :-)

* the last one has worked fine for the last 18 years that I've been coming here, not sure what will really be improved...
