The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Friday 25th January 2019)

Although I did get over to Melksham in the afternoon, the majority of the day was spent in the outbuilding studio (I haven't named it yet, maybe the Panic Room?), setting up my 5.1 home cinema and testing it by playing the Beatles' 1+ Blu-ray. Finally getting the sub-woofer to work, thanks to advice from the man in Richer Sounds the day before, made a big difference but I suspect that the floor-standing speakers are rather dominating the rear speakers, so today (Saturday) I have been switching pairs of speakers around from various rooms.

I haven't decorated in there yet so you can see I've got my priorities right.

(The TV monitor was placed in the corner temporarily while I adjusted the sub-woofer and receiver settings. This was taken in the early evening, the clock on the sill has stopped and a cat has sneaked in.)

Note: I like the new layout whereby you can see everyone's camera model and details at a glance.
