The same but a little bit different

Yes....... even hotter than yesterday! Unbelievable. Much of today has focused on moving very little, hydrating heaps and staying cool in whatever shade I could find. The temperature outside my back door very nearly hit 38 degrees....... horrible, horrible, horrible.

I did manage to get Cybil, my old van, warranted, which she flew though :) The wait in their air conditioned waiting room was divine!

I also picked up Gerty, my new van, after having had a few jobs done on her.....a gas detector installed, fresh and grey water monitors installed, removal of unwanted electrical items, changing last few lights over to LEDs and one or two other smaller jobs. Still a few modifications to do but feeling like things are really coming together well.

This evening was spent looking at and evaluating images.......a process I really enjoyed. And the interesting thing is....... today was the official first day of school (with students!) for the new year and I barely thought about it. Keeping busy is good for all sorts of reasons!
