Lui

Lui came to live with us in 2011 but was born in 2009. We were later to find out from our vet who he belonged to and they willingly agreed he should stay with us as he had been a bit of a lost soul for his first two years and often sought other households for a place he felt comfortable.

For some reason, he has stayed with us the last 8 years despite continuously being beaten up by twins Jerry and Sissy (2006) and not being much liked by the chief cat Cindy (2003). Only young Irish Eddie (2016) is quite happy to play with him.

Here Lui has sought shelter in my office sitting on the windowsill above the radiator where he can keep an eye on his attackers. It's pretty daunting to be under threat 24/7 as all us migrants know. But one does cling to what one knows.
