Sniffer dog...

Look at Lola jammed under the kitchen counter, sitting on my feet with her nose in the air.  You would almost think I was making lunch and had a lovely slice of smoked ham in my hand.

I haven't achieved very much today, but then again I didn't set out to, so I suppose you could say in that respect I've achieved my goal :-))

One thing we have achieved is booking Alan's first holiday without us and our first holiday without him!  A massive step for us all.  

He'll be away for a week in August.  He's not going too far away as we still want to be within striking distance should we be needed, but we have found a fully accessible holiday house, in a beautiful area close to lots of lovely places to visit and the sea.  He will have a ball :-)

And although we've had a few days away on our own, we've always been close by, but this time we'll be off to Stornaway for a week and I can't wait!   We're not going till September when I am hoping the dreaded midges will have died down a bit and hopefully the weather will be photography friendly.

And our decision to visit Lewis and Harris has absolutely nothing to do with this :-))
