Beaver work

at another pond off the trail so this tree posed no danger of falling on anyone.. This pond is getting quite large and a down stream from the others near the trail head by US60. all the bark is stripped and the twigs and smaller branches fortify the dam.

       I'm beginning to want to go further afield. I haven't exhausted the river walk but I need a change of scenery. The sky has been overcast all day; everything, even the wild life, subdued and hiding . . . .

       I watched the last series of Un Village Français Epilogue (1945). I have books ordered from Folio and the next book group choice which we'll meet to discus in March.

       An in-between kind of day . . .
