Gus of the Arctic

We made a flying visit to an Arctic wilderness at lunchtime, and ascended a mountain into cloud. The intrepid polar explorer Gus is seen here, clad in ever so well insulated animal fur. This was taken in the narrow window when there is daylight at the end of January at this high latitude. The Arctic town of Kendal way below us is obscured by clouds.

All this effort to bring Gus's admirers a second blip for the month of January.
