There was a lovely aurora in other parts of the UK last night apparently. We only got a glimpse of a diffuse one through the clouds just after midnight, it was very faint.
D came over to look at the leak in the woodchip boiler system, and went away with various bits to identify online so we can order replacements.
The 15+ year old fridge freezer was collected this morning, free to a good home to someone delighted to have it - they brought us Yorkshire tea and coffee in exchange which was unexpected and looks delicious! It is good when something is no longer deemed 'good enough' for the cottages, that it can go on and have a life somewhere else. One of the advantages of Facebook is its local Buy and Sell page!
We went to see a film early evening called Faces Places, a collaborative film made by Agnes Varda and a visual artist called JR. I came away wanting to find out more about Agnes Varda, who when they made this film was 88!
