Definitely done a lot more than 10,000 steps today!

To Belém for pastéis de nata with my sister and husband, a must on any visit they make to Portugal. And then Mike took them for their flight to London, and I carried on with the girls, showing this gorgeous city to Natalie. We walked and walked, and got a tuk-tuk, and then walked some more, this was on the climb up to the São Jorge castle, on the Escadinhas de São Cristóvão.

Met Mike for dinner; he'd been shopping at a builder's merchant. Dessert was possibly the best, and certainly the best served ice-cream we've ever had, at Nannarella.

Gratefuls:
- the Portuguese love of good food, that we benefit from
- traditions that carry on for hundreds of years, like the pastéis
- our daughter being here with us, and bringing her housemate, who is lovely
