Afternoon visit to the Macrobert Art Centre.

We went to see the recently released Mary Queen of Scots film at the University of Stirling. The Norman McLaren Film House was spot on; great sound and picture quality, nice facilities and once again a considerate audience.
Not historically accurate, the film was none the less entertaining. I’d read a bit about her life before today; if I’d written the screenplay I’d have emphasised a few different aspects that were underplayed or missed out! The costumes, settings and scenery were lovely.
Before heading home we walked around the campus as the sun set on this cold winter’s afternoon; students were coming from their classes at the back of 5 o’clock.
