Dramatic Skies

I went over to Metheringham to see the Folks today. My Dad was over at Sleaford, having his eyes tested. His vision hadn't changed since last year, which is a good thing. I don't think his eyesight is as bad as mine to be honest.

I was in charge of keeping my Mum occupied, fed and watered whlie he was gone, and it wasn't too difficult, just a question, as ever, of answering the same few questions over and over as if each time was the first time I'd heard the question!

Later on I went up to Tesco. My life is so routine! The sky tonight was anything but routine though. I took a few shots on my phone as I walked up as I thought the sky looked pretty (see extra) but when I arrived at Tesco car-park, it looked like a huge flaming dragon was over the Cathedral - wow!

tomorrow is Chinese New Year. All of Lincoln's Chinese takeaways close on Tuesdays though, so Zeph and I had a delicious Chinese takeaway meal tonight to mark the occasion.

It will be the Chinese year of the Pig, which is meant to be a year of good fortune and luck! Here's hoping!
