Book talk

This is a book review that one of my pupils completed for homework. It is well thought out. She is a reader! They have to present it to the class . We did 3 this afternoon,all different but all well done. Only 24 left to do!
Trying to encourage pupils to play rather than play fight in the playground as it always leads to trouble. Encouraging them to have a break from the playground and enjoy playing with Lego with a friend just once a week is already showing signs of improvement. One boy’s teacher said this morning he hadn’t heard him laugh like that before. Sometimes just a bit of empathy rather than harsh words can make a difference. A lot of our children need that...
