Gently down the stream

Foolish day

I walked into town today via the reserve and blipped this pigeon just through the hedge in the garden of The Willow Tree pub.  Someone had left out some seed for the birds and weren't they enjoying it.

And on the subject of pigeons, as usual I was struck by how much colour they have, even though the predominant grey is as dull as the weather.  Plus, I have sorted out why they always look rather foolish - which really they're not.  It's the eyes which make them look so scarily problematical.

So far it's felt like an odd day, even though it really isn't.  But in the short time it took me to buy a few veg and parmesan for tonight risotto, I saw - and heard - 4 ambulances, all going in different directions and got accosted by a middle-aged man with the mistaken idea that the louder he talked, the more interesting people would find him.  Grrr, mutter mutter mutter

Hey ho!  That's another Tuesday done.  Does blip ever make you feel the measuring out of your life is travelling faster and faster?

And on that rather downbeat note (sorry), have a happy evening  xx
