Allan’s 80th Ride

Allan- the one in yellow in the middle- is 80 today. Can you believe it? He’s been riding a bike all his adult life and still gives us all a good testing up the hills when he wants to.

Today we cycled to one of our regular cafes up near the airfield. They had been warned and did us proud. A cake was produced, made by Glynis and delivered earlier. The lights were dimmed and we all sang happy birthday. After endless mugs of tea and opening of silly gifts it was back through the forest. A banana stop, then another tea stop. All in all a memorable birthday party.

A bit of work to do now and photo club this evening.
