A nice piece of suet

I was outside early enough to get some work done in the yard before it got too hot for me.  Yes, too hot to work outside.  28ºC/83ºF

I weeded my little hyacinth and tulip garden and the area beside my rubbish bin that should be a rock area but was currently solid green with weeds!

Then I found some shade to sit in and watch the birds.  The Red-Bellied Woodpecker above, until she decided she had enough to eat and she headed off.

The Tufted Titmouse and the Chipping Sparrow get their share at the feeder as does the Nuthatch.

The birds weren't the only things flying around either - Air Force One has been doing 'touch & goes' at ILM the last two days.  Makes me wonder where the Commander in Chief if planning on going.

Whitey came over a couple of times for his daily visit.

My amaryllis has opened nicely and has been worth the wait.  More of the tulips have opened too.

I'm very tired so hope to sleep well tonight.  Visits to other people's blips will have to wait until tomorrow.
