Loch Leven

A cold, but beautifully sunny day - the best kind of winter weather!  I had an urge to be near water, so we drove to Loch Leven and had a delicious Sunday Roast at The Boathouse in Kinross.

We walked some of it off by strolling round the loch for about half an hour and then back for half an hour.  It's the most exercise I've done in ages and I'll feel it tomorrow:-)  The wind was really bitter by the time we got back to the car, so it was good to get into the warmth.

A couple of Extras, including Loch Leven Castle where Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisoned for a while before she escaped (by boat, not by swimming!)
