Sgwarnog: In the Field

Bed

After a fairly quiet morning doing a bit of reading and cleaning I walked over to Guiseley to watch the Vixens who were hosting Fylde Ladies in a Women's National League Northern Premier League fixture.

After being greeted by locked gates and a postponed match on my last visit it was good to see them open for business. Unfortunately Guiseley's defence proved rather open too, at least during the first 60 minutes during which Fylde established a three goal lead. The Vixens got one back and could have had more in a much improved final half hour, but the damage had been done. 1-3 it finished.

On the way across I paused to admire the reed bed at Tong Park, not least because I'd forgotten to put my SD card back in my camera so was after a relatively stable and close subject for an emergency phone camera blip. Bulrush it is.
