Skyline MC Sunday climbing day, and when I woke up this morning I thought it was a washout. But it seemed that three of us were interested enough to do the drive up to Pleasley Vale in Nottinghamshire,  and in fact the rain eased off the further we got up the A38.

It was a great day, the first outdoor climbing for Mary and I since here, and the first for Paul since here!  I was determined to do a lead... and I did, and Mary did one too, so we were both pleased with ourselves.

But it was very muddy there, so I carried my shoes up to the top with me, using my harness bag as a.... bag because I didn't want the shoes to muddy me up, but several items need a good wash now.
