Verdin

During the rainstorm yesterday, I drove to the airport to pick up my husband. Today I took him to the wetlands where he was able to run and I was able to have some camera therapy. This was a new bird for me and the Merlin Bird app quickly identified it for me. The 24 hours of pouring rain left the area quite muddy so I was not able to venture off the paved trails.  I came across another Road Runner which I have loaded into extra.
