Snowdrops

They have been out in various places locally for some weeks but until today, when I focused the camera on them, I didn’t realize how much they look like little white bats, hanging upside down.

Or at least I think they do in this , though that doesn’t diminish the welcome harbinger they bring of an eventual end to winter.
