Castle

Mr Flum expressed a wish to walk round the loch which we had observed in Tweedbank; this time we took the car.

Named Gunknowe Loch it has a resident pair of swans but often others pass through - there was a total of 10 today - but newcomers are chased away without ceremony. Despite the damp weather, we walked all round - it took about 20 minutes!
We took the 'pretty' way home, the road to the south of the Tweed between Caddonfoot and Innerleithen, which gave a fleeting glimpse of the nameless castle marked on the map, near Eliburn. My photo, taken on full zoom through the windscreen, is the best of a poor bunch taken through the day.
