As far as the eye can see.....

Cambourne, Cambridgeshire is described as a new settlement. It is made up of 3 "villages" Upper, Lower and Great Cambourne. We visit it weekly as it has our nearest supermarket. My walking group also starts from here and uses the many footpaths that cross the villages. There is also a footpath/bridle way that circles the whole settlement. Until recently there was still one section unfinished but has now been completed.

As you can see there has been much planting to soften and enhance the path. And probably to lessen the traffic noise from the nearby A428. It looks bleak now but it will be lovely to see what grows in the coming years.
