Tornado Fly-past

The RAF's Tornado fleet finish their operations in March after 40 years of service and are being superseded by the Typhoon and the Lightning. These three Tornadoes are on a three-day farewell tour which saw them do a fly-past over the Rolls-Royce Filton factory. I've personally been involved with their RB199 engines on and off for more than twenty-five years and so it was a little sad to see them for the last time in RAF colours.

There was quite a crowd watching and I bumped into two ex-colleagues for some impromptu reminiscing which was nice.

An extra too.
