Welsh Bridge

I decided to spend today working as the holidays are disappearing fast and the forecast was for a cloudy day. I did a bit first thing and then we popped to the gym. After lunch the sky was still blue and the temperature so mild (I even hung washing out!) that we decided to make the most of it and go for another walk. We went down to the river again and went in the opposite direction towards the Welsh Bridge and the Quantum Leap sculpture. We walked along Smithfield Road and back up into town. After that we dropped back down to the river and then up Town Walls so that we could go to a new cafe by the cathedral. The cafe was open but the lady serving said they had a function on (a table of 6 people) and refused to serve us 2 drinks! I won't be going back there!

When we got back to the car we headed over to Sainsburys and had the great excitement of using their new self scanners! We know how to live life in the fast lane! I wonder what excitement tomorrow will bring?
