Winter garden work
Bruno arrived at 9am as agreed and his first job was to dig out more of the root from the dead pine stump.
His final job is to tidy up and trim the conker tree in the wood.
He tells me that it's about 150 years old and needs some TLC.
I went to see how the work was going around 10.30 and I saw Bruno dangling from a rope and harness very high up in fact I started to get vertigo and I was on the ground.
I watched for about 15 minutes and then returned indoors to watch homes under the hammer it was safer.
Some tree surgeons these days use cherry picker equipment but Bruno does it the old fashioned way and does a pretty good job.
All will be finished by late afternoon but the bonfire I'm sure will go on for a few days.
Today's blip is a selection from the last few days as I couldn't get a decent photo of the man in the tree.
Thanks for your visit it's appreciated and I hope you have a good day too.
