We drove along Dumbarton Road in Glasgow today towards Clydebank...… we drove along it for four miles, and I reckon there were at least another four miles to the road...… I wonder if it is the longest road in Glasgow?  I tried to find out on the internet but was not successful.

However, it has a great mix of buildings along the route, from red sandstone tenements, to old stone buildings and modern blocks, to big villas, and lots of old style shops.  A very interesting road in the old Glasgow style.

I don't know what the building in my picture is, but I liked the clock tower and photographed it as we passed along the road, it is taken from the moving vehicle, but I did my best...…

We had a temperature of 17C at 3.30 today, just amazing for the time of year.
