An ordinary life....

Sunset sheep...

After the sadness of yesterday's news, my lunch out with Gill today was just the tonic I needed.

Gill, as most of you know, was one of Alan's support team for a couple of years till she had to retire due to problems with her hands.  We miss her lots but she's become a good friend so we still see her regularly.

She picked me up and after a short discussion about where to have lunch, we headed to Loch Leven's Larder.  I hadn't been there in ages so it was a lovely treat.
Over a delicious lunch and coffee we caught up and laughed so much.  Gill is a lady who causes mayhem wherever she goes and today was no exception (the adventures she and Alan had would make your hair curl :-)  I wish I could tell you the whole story of what happened as it involves tailing a car after she spotted the driver, but there are issues of confidentiality involved so I can't.  You just have to trust me when I say there were moment where I could hardly breathe for laughing.

Gill is also an expert on good places to eat out, so on the way home we took a detour via Bridge of Earn so she could show me a little place she likes a lot.  It so happens this little place is just opposite the entrance to Kilgraston School, which will be familiar to two or three bippers who follow my journal, so I thought I would take a photo of the entrance and post it in extras for them to see.  Of course Gill being Gill, she drove straight in the main entrance and up to the main building so I got a shot of that as well!  (All in extras)

Home for a quiet evening catching up with some tv and trying to organise my Tesco food shopping list.  Rock n roll Monday!  :-))
