A lovely visit to Lyme Park today, wearing sunscreen, who would have thought we would need sunscreen in February. People dressed in shorts and tshirts, a few women in summer frocks, just surreal. My car thermometer read 21’C in the shade. Apart from that Lyme Park is stunning, run by the NT the house, the grounds and the follies are well worth a visit. There’s an extra of Manchester in the distance.
