I See Sunflower Seeds

It's been a grey damp day all day long - but I managed to get this photo of a male cardinal before it actually started pouring rain this afternoon. Meanwhile, speaking of cardinals, I just counted FOURTEEN male cardinals out in front of the house eating bird seed. And at least as many females. It's more than I've ever counted at one time before! Usually it's around 8 or 10 males.

Anyhoo. I liked this guy's position. He was peering at the sunflower seed hearts before jumping down to help himself.
