Day 061/19. MSC Bellissima naming today.

The brand new cruise ship MSC Bellissima is in Southampton for her naming ceremony today (@MSC, where's my invite?).
Accompanied by the container ship MSC Vidhi it made quite a sight in Southampton today. I was luck in that I seemed to have visited at the only time all day when the sky almost cleared and the sun came out.
After the naming the Bellissima will sail to the Pacific and probably never visit Southampton again, being destined for the Asian market.
The MSC Bellissima is the world's sixth-largest cruise ship and was built in Saint Nazaire in France at a cost of $1bn (£750m).
The new mammoth cruise liner has a deck surface area that is equivalent to 63 football pitches and stands 213ft (65m) high.
On board, the huge vessel boasts more than 2,200 cabins and can hold more than 5,500 passengers.
