Short daffs

This bunch of daffodils was only bought on Sunday, in bud, and they are fully out already. They are actually only part of the bunch, and as their stems were a lot shorter than the others I had to find a different vase/jug for them. I've not used this jug for flowers before. It's a water jug we bought in Holt when we were on holiday there a few years ago. Mind you, we've not used it for water either. Husband doesn't approve of water with his whisky!
