On the Bus Day

We had a fairly early start today, and headed out to a cafe for a cappuccino, which if I am honest was not a good cappuccino. Then to a bus to the centre of Edinburgh. It was not busy, this was a relief as I had a suitcase and did not fancy negotiating a bus full of people. We then headed towards the coach station for our bus for Aberdeen. On the way we passed this building which I thought would make a Blip for today. I had no idea what it was, but have since found it on the internet. It turns out to be the Church of St Andrew’s and St George’s West in George Street.

In Edinburgh I have only the vaguest of ideas where I am, on my own I would not venture far from Waverley Station. Such knowledge I do have is limited mostly to places named in the Rebus novels.

The coach to Aberdeen was busy but there were a couple of spare seats. We had pre booked. There is only one stop in Dundee, If it did not make this stop the coach would probably be quicker than the train. On arrival in Aberdeen we had a pizza at Ask before returning home.
