I went to the Wetland Centre in the morning, and managed to keep ahead of the rain, although I didn't escape the chill. I didn't have much of an explore, but just spent a while in the first enclosure watching the various tundra geese (white-fronted, red-breasted, barnacle, and emperor geese) and their adopted nēnē friend as they all pottered about, and then got in a frenzy of washing, splashing, and flapping...
