Majestic, Imperious

Rather embarrassed that there are so few women represented among the 32 artists in my Sony Walkman Countdown. Siouxsie Sioux is the first of those few at No.20 with 28 songs, since Julee Cruise doesn't really count being there only because of Angelo Badalamenti. Still, what a truly incredible artist she is; strong, tender, angry and sensual. I will love her to The Last Beat Of My Heart.
