I encountered this bunch, including my friend who'd hosted us yesterday evening, about to take the sea plunge this morning. I was dressed in a big, waterproof puffer jacket and thick walking trousers. They weren't.

A fun round of 9 holes later this morning in very reasonable weather. Post game cake was resisted and I deserve a medal just for that!

LH has been outside hacking back the straggly willow windbreak that has now outgrown its purpose. We'll plant a nicer willow species underneath to fill out some gaps and give us a more attractive outlook. I've been doing some curtain planning and more sewing to keep ahead of my 'class'.
