Crocus Flowers

British Gas came this morning to service our new boiler. We have put it on a “call out” contract and although they have accepted the boiler and started taking money, they have to come and check that the boiler is working and that they can accept it on a contract. It would appear that it is in good working order, it should be it is only four months old, and has been accepted on the contract.

The afternoon was taken up with the U3A photography meeting. With several of these U3A events to attend now, I think it might be time for me to fully retire. At least that way I will be able to keep the garden under some sort of control, unlike last year when only the lawns were kept relatively tidy.

Today’s picture is of some Crocus flowers. I planted some very late and had a few left over, so I planted these near Splodge’s grave. I cannot remember where I planted the others, but they do not appear to have flowered yet.

The temperature at noon was nine degrees Celsius, but it also felt very cold as it was windy.
