And then it rained

Chionodoxa cretica, a diminutive wild form of Glory of the Snow.  I raised these from wild seed about twenty years ago and they've increased nicely over the years, enough for me to release a nice clump into the garden where they clearly thrive.  A quick pic before the heavy rain arrived.  

A day mostly spent with Una and the girls.  An OT visit allowed a hoist to be tried out.  Una 'flew' and was able to sit in her old chair for a while.   When I joked with her later about her maiden flight her face lit up .... "I never thought I'd sit in my chair again."   Lump in my throat time.
