Group effort

The patchwork group are making a quilt to raffle which is in the true patchwork tradition of using up unwanted bits. This rather nice star block comes after the donation of bed valances (red) and sheets (white) from a local hotel after they were found to be excess to requirements.

The weather has been both gloriously sunny and darkly rainy, mostly the former but an extra of a sharp shower approaching on my way home (extra)

I took the devious route home to check out the birds (usually quite a few) on this loch - but only found a sturdy double gate (extra)
