Technical challenge

On The Great British Bake Off, the second of the three challenges they have to complete is the technical challenge. The contestants are given a basic recipe and they have to follow it in a given amount of time. Often, the contestants think they know better than Mary Berry/Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, and deviate from the recipe, only to court disaster.

I did the same with a simple chocolate cake recipe from the Vegan Society’s website. Luckily, Dr Oetker saved the day.
