An early start this morning at Shaftesbury to find out about the SAVED project archaeology session we were preparing for a visit to Motcombe School tomorrow. The archaeologist, Julian had some excellent resources.
In the afternoon the Bird Walk was on Hartland Moor near Wareham - a few Dartford Warblers and the discovery of a little medieval bridge on an old trackway . A overly spot .
In the evening, it was the final lecture of the year at Thomas Hardye School about underwater Antatarctica by DrJohn Copley from Southampton who has been an advisor to the Blue Planet series - it was fascinating with some images of newly discovered creatures- some of them very strange !
