'They are not us. This is who we are.'

Several hundred people gathered in front of our old railway station today to show sympathy and solidarity for the victims, their families and the Moslem community after the Christchurch terrorist attack of Friday.

We were naive to believe we were safe from such horrors.

The people of NZ and from around the world are stronger in their support, care and love for each. Long may those feelings continue.

The extra shows just one couple of many people quietly holding each other.
