The Old Forge (Friday 15th March 2019)

Gardening/Decorating Wednesdays didn't happen over the last couple of weeks due to rain, damp and humid conditions. Luckily, Refna had indoor work to do elsewhere in Calne instead. On Friday I'd invited her over for afternoon tea and she came when she'd finished work in The Green for a couple of hours catch-up, during which we did a quick tour of the woodland garden and discussed plans for its progress.
After a long hiatus, the garden has begun springing into life in the last couple of weeks, and I'd been out earlier in the day recording photographically a few new flowers for posterity.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Marvin Gaye - Too Busy Thinking About My Baby (recorded 15 March 1969, Hitsville, Detroit MI)
Recorded 50 years ago this day, this is the hit version of the song that was first recorded by the Temptations in 1965 and appeared on their album Gettin' Ready. The Marvin Gaye single was the top selling R&B single of the year and was the first release from his 1969 album M.P.G.
