A Sky So Blue, Even the Rails Are Blue

Our travels on this March Sunday took us to Altoona to meet a relative for a meal out. We threw in some shopping to boot. And then on the way home, we stopped for a little hike and some woods time along the Bald Eagle Creek.

There is a set of railroad tracks that runs along the edge of the wetland there, and I found it to be a fun little photo shoot. The sky was so blue that even the rails shone blue.

A song for a railroad track with no trains on it: Marc Cohn with Jeff Pevar, Ghost Train. It's a live version, and the music begins about a minute in.

Safety note: I carefully looked both ways many times before walking onto these tracks, and I'd advise you to do the same. Exercise caution when hanging out (and taking photos) on or near railroad tracks.
