Swanning around

Today was a revelation. We finally got to Abbotsbury. Perfect weather, and before the summer crowds descend.

The most beautiful setting, and seeing all the swans was magical. We fortunately arrived in time for their midday feed, and in the absence of young kids, anyone could help. Of course I volunteered Mr B.

I took so many photos, and really found it difficult to select just one. Hence the collage.

Spent a couple of hours wandering round and studying the magnificent creatures. Then drove back via a cider in Poundsbury (the experimental village, built according to the principles of Prince Charles). The village continues to grow, and I return at least a couple of times a year to track its progress.

Late now, hope to find time to catch up on blips tomorrow.
