The Midge And The Robin

I got bogged down with admin today and unusually for Ollie dog and me we didn't go out. We had a few walks around our property and I managed a shot of a bullfinch but it wasn't great. 

This evening our garden robin was singing from the top of the very tall Norway spruce Christmas tree, which was catching the last rays of sun. Suddenly the bird launched, I guessed that it might have been after a fly. I was delighted to see on screen a non-biting midge approaching in one frame and the bird jumping for it in the next. :)
