Setting off to walk the Thurgoland Boundary Walk

Not all of it today, but I thought I’d try to get around to The Travellers Inn before I returned home.  So I’ve walked approximately 6.5 miles.  (It takes me longer these days.)  This was taken as I set off and looks over our village and up to the hillside that’s known as Millmoor.  We usually try and walk it before the actual annual boundary walk day so we can check out if there are likely to be any problems.  I’ve spotted one or two possibles, but nothing too serious. I think most of them could be resolved if we drop a letter into the houses/ small holdings that we pass close to.  There are sheep/ horses/ llamas (alpacas) in fields where there weren’t any last year.

I don’t usually see anyone walking across this field when I walk it.  My extra shows part of the walk (until my battery ran out - I had the spare in the bag I’d used the day before!)
