St Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham/ Railings

I was on the 1823 train from Euston to Birmingham New Street. Arrived just before 8. Long day. I was meeting friends and colleagues for dinner prior to an RICS UKESB meeting tomorrow. The cathedral is opposite the Premier Inn where I am staying. This reminds me of the regular, similar Blips I have posted of St Pauls Cathedral: the cathedral behind the railings.

According to Wikipedia: "The Cathedral Church of Saint Philip is the Church of England cathedral and the seat of the Bishop of Birmingham. Built as a parish church and consecrated in 1715, St Philip's became the cathedral of the newly formed Diocese of Birmingham in 1905".
