Flower Friday

Such a wonderful spread of primroses have self seeded themselves in my garden.. they are bountiful.

Today has been fabulous weather.. warm and sunny so l got a lot of jobs done in the garden. Finally l have finished trimming down the hawthorn hedge and after doing that had to come in to the house to cool down!!   Among other things l have also planted all my anemones and also (new for me) some glorious looking ranunculus blubs.  I really hope these come to something and that the mice don't gobble them up!!  They are sure to be a blip if they flower!
