Waulkmill Bay in a Hailstorm

You can't really see the hail but, trust me, it was there, and backed by a strong and cold wind. I went along to the bay to help in 'Bag-the-Bruck' when volunteers clear litter from various beaches around Orkney. It actually wasn't bad today with most of the rubbish being lengths of cordage and rope, all plastic and a real hazard to the oceans. I did find a bottle from Norway- their best-selling mineral water 'Royal Farris'. There were eight of us but you can only see three here.
